The Shenandoah summer hammock quilt is lighter than a sleeping bag. No squirming around to get in and out. Easy to vent for temperature control. Designed for use in moderate temperatures. The Shenandoah summer hammock quilt can be used either as a top quilt (in a hammock or on the ground) or as a hammock underquilt (suspension system included). This sew through down quilt is ideal as a summer quilt when temperatures are not expected to be below 40°F(5°C). The regular length fits folks up to 5 feet 10 inches tall.

This quilt has 5 Double Sided Kam Snaps on either side of the foot end to from the footbox and one on either side of the head end for snapping it behind the neck. The Kam Snaps can also be used for combining two quilts of the same style for additional capability.

Over-stuff: 25% over-stuff included!

All Jacks ‘R’ Better quilts are overstuffed by at least 25%. We do not recommend additional over stuffing. If you think you need additional over-stuff consider purchasing the next warmer quilt model.

Compression Sack: A lot of folks no longer use compressions sacks and instead keep their quilts dry inside a lawn contractor bag or trash compactor liner. We do not want anyone to have to pay for something they do not want so now we offer them separately.

Underquilt Suspension System: Shock Cord and micro-carabiners suspension system for suspending JRB quilts beneath a hammock.
